Education/Licensure/Certifications:
NJ LAC/LSW (required);
NJ LCSW/LPC (preferred).
2 Crisis Counselor positions:
One position requires bilingual Spanish-speaking; 2nd position does not require bilingual.
40-hour confidential sexual violence advocates training required and provided by Hudson Speaks once hired.
Main Function:
Under the supervision of the Senior Program
Coordinator, the Crisis Counselor will conduct one-to-one
counseling to primary and secondary survivors of
sexual assault trauma. The counselor will assist with
support groups and clinical case management as needed.
