Hudson Speaks Honored by City of Jersey City with Mayor’s Proclamation and Council Resolution for Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Jersey City, NJ - April 30, 2024- Hudson S.P.E.A.K.S. Against Sexual Violence has been recognized and honored by the City of Jersey City with both the Mayor’s Proclamation and a Council Resolution on the occasion of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (S.A.A.M.) in April.

Mayor Steven M. Fulop’s City Proclamation acknowledges the significance of S.A.A.M. and commends Hudson Speaks for its decades-long dedication to supporting victims of sexual violence, highlighting its pivotal role in our society.

Similarly, the City of Jersey City Council has unanimously passed a Council Resolution, lauding Hudson Speaks for its steadfast commitment to creating safer communities through prioritizing the healing and well-being of survivors.

In the face of ongoing challenges, Hudson Speaks remains resolute in its mission to foster safer communities by championing the healing and empowerment of sexual assault survivors.
